Download this piece of software:

Its free, and no spyware or malware, I promise.
Most system builders use it to check their CPU's stats

Also, you may be experiencing CPU throttling; when the CPU detects it is not used much, it lowers its core speed. CPU-Z will show you the current, on-demand speed. If you find that it is below the 1.5ghz speed, let us know.

  • Madhav Suresh Jul 27, 2008

    Hmm... CPU-Z says that it's a 1000MHZ (1 GHZ) CPU. That's odd
Also it says it's running currently at 746 MHZ, but that might be a biproduct of throttling.
What do you mainly use your computer for?
You may want to consider Ubuntu Linux. (A free Operating system that runs really fast)
Also could you post the URL to your CPU-Z page?

Why is my eMachines EL1360G processor overloading?

Without knowing the specs on your computer, I would say that the problem is not your CPU (processor) or Firefox but possibly several reasons:
>If you are streaming hi definition video your integrated graphics processor is inadequate for processing the video. You are getting what is called "dropped frames", which means that the video card (probably part of your motherboard as opposed to an independent video card installed inside the computer) is not powerful enough to process the incoming video stream, which means if falls behind in supplying the video;
>You have inadequate amount if memory for doing the video processing since it is being shared with the memory demands needed to run your computer's operating system.
>You have programs or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Programs) adware/spyware running in the background that is interfering with the system (very likely); you need a general system cleanup to get your unit back up to speed. Side thought: do NOT use these popularly advertised "register cleaners" or "system cleaners". People bring their computers to me all the time when these garbage programs trash their system.
>Your internet connection is slow-believe me, this is a hugely common problem.

Intel pentium g620 2.6ghz 3mb processor

upgrading your processor will not speed up your internet only the overall speed of your system. try antivirus scan or remove any spamware/ clean out temporary internet files. look at ways to speed up your browser. Consider increasing your internet speed via your internet/broadband provider.

How do i increase the speed for pentium(R)4cpu 3.00ghz

you can increase your speed of your processor installed in your computer by adding more memory that your computer or motherboard and processor can support. Sometimes even you have a high speed processor but it needs to have a high speed size of memory also in order cater more processing transactions in your computer. The memory function as the temporary storage of your current program or application you load in your syustem or you run in your computer. So the more memory size you have the more program or application you can load and the more program can be loaded in your memory it can help your computer fast or process more processing transactions in the computer system. So if you want to make your computer fast you have to install a high speed processor at the same time a large and fast memory.
Hope this will help you answer your problem. Thanks

Download issue n inter net issue

try reinstalling your windows your OS might be corrupted from a Virus infection. viruses or worms usually hog your Internet , that might result to a slow internet connection..
Also if you have a 256kbps connection, your download speed of 25KBper sec is normal
because 256,000 kbps / 8bits = 32 KB/s (thats your maximum dl speed)
but assuming there is a loss in transmission about 15- 20% lost your max dl speed is only 25.6 KB/s thats why your connection is normal.

Connection between emachines case and motherboard

Most likely the wires are for power, reset, and hard disk light. Touch one pair together momentarily, if your compter comes on then connect those wires to the power button. After the computer is on, connect the other two pair to the hard disk light one pair at a time until you see the light activate when the hard disk is running. Then connect the remaining pair to your reset button.
