Check the fuse first ,then check the power supply if there's a B+ ,if no B+, check up the regulator.

Got hit by lightning and won't turn on. Power source is good. Need to find out how to take it apart.

Most of the time after an appliance has been hit by lightning, it is toast. In the case of a printer you can probably buy a new one for the cost of the replacement part. Next time make sure you also purchase a surge protector to plug your computer and printer into and then you will be protected from lightning strikes.

Lingthing hit my tv and the power don't come on.what o I have to replace

Almost always, the power supply board will need to be replaced after a lightning hit. If the cable or antenna input was hit, you will need to replace the main board also. It is usually cheaper to replace the TV than to repair a lightning hit.

If your tv is connected to dish network and is hit by lightning what is there liability

Try the TV on a different power outlet, which you are sure, works. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

TV hit by lightning. Will Best Buy replace without questions?

Ask and see but I would not mention the lightening---if its 3 months old the LG warranty should cover the repair or replacement.

They will not know at all it was lightening unless you tell them.

"This thing just stopped working" they will either get it fixed or get you a replacement set.

Your'e lucky if radio and ant are the only casualties. No vehicle system in the world is designed to survive that kind of power and magnetic pulse!!! Yes...replace them.

LIGHTNING HIT IT

This could be bad.. You want to check the fuse in the power supply. If you are lucky that is all that is bad. If the lightning got thought the fuse you could have real problems. You would have to replace at least two boards, one being the power supply board and the other could be the signal board or digital board. Sometimes they unitize the signal and digital boards as one board. Lightning can do strange things. sometimes it will just take out a diode and fuse Sometimes it can trash a set making it cost prohibitive to repair.. Good luck.
