Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

The noise that stops when you open the door is the evaporator fan. If it sounds like blades striking something there is most likely too much ice in the evaporator coils and the fan blades are striking the built up ice. If it sounds like a vibration it can be bad bearings inthe evaporatof fan motor.

Ice build up is usually a sign of an automatic defrost circuit problem. The unit should defrost close to 3 times a day depending on the defrost control installed. What you should do is do a manual defrost session by unplugging the unit, removing the freezer contents and directing a fan into the freezer compartment for just over 2 hours. This will ensure that all of the evaporator coil ice has melted. (Yes it makes a water mess) Tidy things up and return the unit to normal service after your manual defrost session. NOTE: If you have an automatic defrosting problem the fan noise can repeat in as little as 2 days as the ice once again builds up on the evaporator coils.

DO the manual defrost, LISTEN for noise after 24 - 48 hours. No noise... no worries, NOISE after 24 - 48 hours = Defrost problem. Causes of a defrost problem can be the defrost control, defrost heating element, the defrost thermostat or a wiring problem.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

My samsung dishwasher has a constant buzz that occurs during start up and lasts through all of the cycles. I saw where there is an electrical noise filter and did not know if that could be the cause.

No a noise filter is a different kettle of fish. That stops electrical interference noise from affecting your television, radios and electrical devices.

The most likely source of the hum is the start capacitor on the motor, or the motor itself.

This has a different idea

Humming or Grinding If your Samsung dishwasher makes noise when starting that sounds like a low hum, it's part of normal function. The motor makes this sound as it operates throughout the wash cycle. However, a dishwasher making loud humming noise or grinding sounds could mean that debris is caught in the drain pump.

Samsung Dishwasher Making Noise? Follow These Tips

This says the drain pump, but the drain pump only runs to empty out so it wouldn't do it all the time.

Fan making noise stops when i open door on samsung ref

The fan motor needs to be replaced more than likely. A door switch kills power to the fan whenever the door is opened.

Why does the refridgerator sounds like a jackhammer?

On some models when you open the door the door switch also turns off the evaporator blower motor. If the fan is hitting something while the door is closed you will hera the noise, and it will stop when you open the door.

My samsung refrierator is making a chirping noise

It most likely is the fan motor. When the bearing wears out, the fan motor shaft tends to run "off center" every few seconds and it sounds like a "chirp". See if it stops when the door is open and starts after the door switch is held closed for a minute or so.
If it is the motor, find a replacement online.

We have a Samsung Model number RS2530BBP that the freezer is making a loud buzzing noise. It only stops when you open the freezer door.

It sounds like the solenoid which opens the ice dispenser door or works the cubed/crushed ice part of the ice dispenser is stuck. Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying starting at the bottom going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it. When it's off the screws will be exposed to access the other components.
Check you model number as that one doesn't match any. Here are some close matches. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/modelsearch.aspx?model=RS2530BBP

You can see diagrams of yours if you find it.

Refrigerator side makes noise, not getting cold

I have same fridge freezer & luckily a extended warranty, engineer has been out on numerous occasions & the motor is getting freezed up, which is why the noise stops when the door is opened. Get rid of it! No solution to the problem...its a faulty appliance & a well known fault with this model or so I have been told. Good luck.

Making noise and not cooling properly , when you open the door the noise comes to a stop like the fan slowing down

Your unit isn't defrosting. Your fan blade is hitting the frost that is built up in the back of your unit. All Samsung units are made when you open the door that the fan stops. You can check this but finding your door switch and see if the sound still continues. But you will need service and a part to fix this unit. Where are you located? We are the master tech company for Samsung in the Charlotte, NC area.
