I have a Nintendo DS lite and I was wanting to know if I could connect with friends on a Nintendo Wii for playing Animal Crossing. My daughter lives in Florida and I live in California and we would love to play it together but I don't have a Wii. Please tell me if that is possible. Thank you.

You have to have WiFi connections setup for your DS Lite. While in game (or on the main menu of the game), select Nintendo WiFi settings. It will bring you to a menu with 3 connection options. Choose one that says "Ready" and select the Search option. Once you find a connection you want to use, it will perform a test to make sure it will connect. Once that is done, just back out and resume playing. Now anytime the game asks to connect to WiFi, it will have no problem.
ok... first you need both ds(es) haha..... close to each other ( 3-30 ft away). then go to the gate and one of you needs to invite someone and the other needs to go out.. once in the other town. one person needs to go to the menu/ pocket. and go the the friend tab and select "add friend" (not sure if that's the actual option) and it should be smooth sailing from there. if you both want the friend on the list. you have to repeat the process with the other person. I may not have the full process because I'm typing it by memory ( i havn't played in a while and I don't remember where I put the game case.... :D ) I hope that this helped. the best of luck to you.
dont use action replay with animal crossing for a while and dont play your game for a few days and play another game when your done with a game take it out after you turn your power off and it will help prevent your games from freezing in the future
Try updating your software in your dsi? Keep in mind that AC was intended for ds not dsi so there is some bugs. Just like how AR(action ready codes) wont work for dsi, it just wasn't made for dsi.
solution? buy a ds? gamestop sell used ds for 70ish dollars or so.
Did you try to set up your Wi-fi connection settings or your not in a good Wi-fi connection zone.If that doesn't work mabey not made by or for nintendo.
