If other functions/buttons are working normal the you need to look at: 1.Phones Volume 2.Phones Mix 3.Activate Cue A or CUE B buttons the LED on indicates it is activated. If problem persists Check again your ASIO in BCD 3000 Control Panel if the Master out is 1/2 and phones in 3/4. Theres a little light indicating activated ones.

Do you have the manual for your device?
I believe you are looking for manual pages 10 and 13 which explain that the output channels 1/2 or 3/4 can be chosen for "master output" and the other for headphones output. Have you set it up like the manual states with 1/2 as master out and 3/4 for headphones?

Technics sa8100x reciever

It does have it's own built in amp you know? But if you want to connect it to a more powerful amp, plus it doesn't have a pre-amp out socket the only way would be to have the two inputs of the Tube amp connected by RCA plugs with a Headphone plug on the other end. This would then be plugged into the headphone jack of the receiver. Use the receiver's volume control has an input level control, keeping it very low to avoid damage to the amp. Making the Tube amp do the work.

Front side speakers quit working ,cant figure it out

Check your front display to make sure that it shows you are using either spkrs A or B. If it does not show this, then you need to replace your headphone jack with a new one. Your unit is thinking that you are using headphones, when in fact you are not.

I cant connect my audiovox infrared headphones to my tv or laptop

Hi, Infrared means there should be a transmitter ( a base unit ) to send music and audio to the headphones. This is connected through the line output or headphone jack of the t.v. or laptop. If you do not have this you will not be able to get them to work, sorry. I hope this helps and good luck, plus thanks for asking FixYa. Prodzilla.

Just bought used pair of wharfedale 28637WH headphones dont know how to connect them to av unit. i cant download manual as using ps3 to do this. can u help with this? thanks craig

The base station for these headphones will have to be plugged into your AV unit. This is done with either a 1/8" jack or a 1/4" jack. Once the base station is plugged in, you will be able to use your wireless headphones.

If your adapter has a stereo mini male plug, you will probably have to buy a headphone adapter plug and use the headphone jack on the stereo for your input connection.

Not available in headphone use

Hi imaw4672

First, check inside the headphone socket for something inserted. A common find here in Australia is a mudwasp nest also. They love to built inside this sort of hole. If that isn't it, spray some contact cleaner lubricant spray into the socket. I use crc 2-26. Then insert a jack plug in and out a few times to see if you can clear the problem. The socket has switching inside it that tells the amp the headphones are plugged in. These contacts may be dirty of have dry solder joints. Check the soldering about the socket also, resolder anyway if you have an iron handy. If all this fails, you have a faulty socket. See how you go and get back to me for the next steps if you cant get it sorted. Socket replacement is probably on the cards.

robotek
