Remington hc-353

I have the above hair trimmer and batteries no longer hold charge. Take off the trimmer mechanism, that is the two large screws. Then unscrew the screw under plastic button, get flat bladed screwdriver and prise apart the two sections, they just clip together with plastic lugs at ai sides of the case. battery replacement, ehen you open you will see three batteries that have been soldered together. Have not found any easy way of replacing batteries at moment, still working on that one. Good luck Tony B

My husband loves his Wahl 4000. It has totally stopped working. Is it possible that the battery itself needs to be replaced? It will not recharge. I cannot remember exactly how old it is...maybe four...

Sounds like the battery is done, but changing it is not recommended by Wahl. 4 years is a long time for constant recharging. The same thing happened with my SonicCare toothbrush.

You can send your shaver in for service here or buy a refurbished/new one from these guys. http://www.electricshaverstore.com/item.asp?n=7397500&k=7397500&sc=FRGL

You can also add an extended warranty on from www.squaretrade.com. You might want to call squaretrade and ask them if this is possible first. There warranties usually work on new and refurbished items on Ebay.

E115 Won't Hold Battery Charge

You might hook your charger up to your battery and check the voltage that you are getting when it is fully charged. It may be that the charger is bad. Your voltage when fully charged with the battery on it should be a little over the rated voltage of the battery. Just a thought. Be sure you are using the correct poweradapter/charger also.
