Question about Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S2000 40 in. LCD HDTV
We have our PS3 and DVD player connected to the two HDMI connections, both are loosing the signal, screen goes black, sound is out sourced elsewhere so we know it is the TV's HDMI as we still get sound, Sony say they have never had this happen, any ideas?

Sounds like a handshake problem with the HDMI outputs on the devices. I have never seen BOTH HDMI inputs have the problem. It could be a problem in the TV where the HDMI signal is processed or the HDMI jacks may have been stressed and this is why you have an intermittent problem. By stressed I mean that the jacks have been bent by inserting the cables wrong or pulling up or down on the cables when they were plugged into the unit.
