Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
We have a failry new Kodak 5300 printer. It is not using the black cartridge. For a page or two when we first put in the new black cartridge it uses black but it lasts for barely a page. We have changed both cartridges 1 time, the black cartridge 3 times. I have cleaned the printhead numerous times, deep cleaned the printerhead numerous times and re-calibrated numerous times. I have re-loaded the software with no positive results. I am not sure what else to do?
Your printhead sounds like it's defective. You should call the Kodak AiO support number - 1800 421 6699. Once the agents get your name and address and such, they will send a new printhead to you. It doesn't take long to get.
