Question about Jack Lalanne Power Juicer (Stainless Steel)
I just bought a Jack LaLanne Power juicer yesterday (7-19-2008) at Target. I used it for the first time this morning and went to clean it. I got the blade out but the filter isn't coming out no matter what we've tried to do. Why is that? Is it defective? Or am I? LOL - Please help - Susan
Well this is September ,so i just got one to,so i dont know if you solved your problem since then, but you never take the screws out the blade to take the blade out you keep screws in and take the vise gripe the black vise grip and put it in the blade while still in the processer and turn it left keep turning it and the whole thing will come off and so you will be able to clean the filter .

I purchased one of these at the flea market and the "cresent wrench" wasn't with mine. You simply need a way to hold the blade stationary as you twist the filter counter clockwise. I solved the problem with a stiff piece of clothes hanger wire bent in a U shape so it each end would go in one of the holes simply to keep that part stationary while you turned the filter.
