Problem for Nikon COOLPIX P4 Digital Camera

Transfering pictures

I dont have a memory card yet, so my pictures are saved to the camera's memory. I use the plug to transfer my pictures to my computer. I plug in the camera, then turn it on. The lense usually comes out and something pops up on my screen of my computer that asks me if i want to transfer my pictures to a folder on my computer, but now the lense doesnt go out when i turn it on while it is plugged in...and on my computer it says that the pictures are being transfered and then it disappears and doesnt ask me if i want to transfer them...

if your running windows you can go to my computer and check if there is a removable disk double click on it and you can manually copy and paste the pictures to the folder.

You must start the Explorer (windows key + e key).
You should see your camera on the left.
Right click on it.
Click on properties.
Click on Test Camera.
Click on Set time (in order to synchronize the time between your PC and your Camera).
Go on Events tab.
Select "Save all pictures in this folder".
Click on ok button.
Close the window.
Right click on your camera icon in Explorer.
Click on Get pictures.

I hope it will work for you,

Regards,

Frédéric.
