Re: my mouse is wheel is not functioning right
You need to determine if it a software or hardware issue. Check the mouse settings in control panel under the wheel tab (mine is set to 3 lines at a time). Do you have access to another wheel mouse to try? A new mouse is not expensive. If the scrolling works on another mouse the the wheel is defective.

Initially, go and buy some elctronic switch cleaning spray and spray all around the mouse especially the wheel and this may clear all the dust and skin particles that block mouse and leyboards during PC usage. If this does not work, re install it and see if that is any better.
Roll back the mouse driver:
1. Right-click [My Computer]
2. Select [Manage]
3. Select [Device Manager]
4. Locate your mouse on the right windows and press the +Mice ...
5. Right-click HID - Compliant mouse ( or whatever)
6. click [Properties]
7. In the "Driver" tab, Select [Roll Back Driver]
Without the drivers the mouse runs great. The only thing you can't do is use the second scroll wheel to scroll left and right. Instead the mouse scrolls in the opposite direction than the first scroll wheel. The side buttons can be configured within OSX and Windows for whatever you might want.
The scroll button should be the wheel. rolling back the wheel should scroll for you. you can also auto scroll by pushing down on the wheel and gently pulling the mouse backward. (faster you pull the mouse, faster it scrolls)
You should make sure that you have the LX7 Setpoint software installed to set the features you want. For the scroll button or button three if pressed, I have mine set to zoom (first selection). The scroll function of the wheel should be automatic. Go the mouse movement settings and set the scroll size to 6 lines. That should allow you to scroll your pages adequately. You can try using the windows driver for a generic 3 button or wheel mouse. That may require that you go to control panel system hardware and then find your mouse then select update driver and pick one of the generic or microsoft drivers that have the same functions. The problem may show up when you reboot and windows tries to reload the original driver.
