I just checked and they seem to have a lot of parts for Thermador. you just need your model number. if the burners look anything like this, then you might be able to buy aftermarket burners a lot cheaper at lowes or home depot. thermadore parts are very expensive.Electric coils for old Thermador cooktop Model #TM - 38e8186.jpg

Light "Burner On" stays on all the time on my electric stove GE model JBS27WH2WW

I have a GE Range Model JBS27W H2WW and the serial# XXXXX that I was cooking on and the back burner starting throwing out sparks and blew a hole in the coil and the drip pan. Now the light Burner on is staying on and I switched the 8 inch burner in the front with this 8 inch burner and still cannot get it to work.

Want to replace / repair my 45" Thermador cooktop circa 1950? I love the griddle would prefer repair

I've got a TMH45A-1 and find that I can get most parts to repair the unit, but it really adds up fast. 6" burner is $100, 8" is about $150. Add in the rest of the parts to bring it to a like new condition and it's $700-$800!

This is a link to a place that sells parts for my unit. If you have your model number you can search by that.

One gas cooktop does not light, no gas smell

Hello Liz. The most common reason for the problem you are experiencing is greasey dirt in the burner. Use a small brush, some fine wire and some degreaser to clean up the burner. Then let it dry overnight and try it again. If it still won't start, you will have to replace the ignitor.

Keeping existing 220V for oven and getting 110V to cooktop

yes you need a seperate line for the cooktop. whoever hooked your oven and cooktop up in the first place should have never hooked them to the same line to begin with. you are lucky you never had issues.

My electric stove top burner only works on high

This is for the glass top units. well i'm not sure if your problem is with your large or small single burner or the large expandable burner. If it's the large or small single burner replace the burner and if it the expandable also replace the burner. If you have a coil burner replace the infinite switch. Good luck hope this helps you.

Old Thermador cooktop continues to spark even after turned off

sounds like you have a bad switch. maybe on the large burner.. some of those switches can be replaced without the whole harness.

Foil melted onto stove top. Left awful grey large smudge.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser... or a new safety razor blade (the kind you would y=use to scrape paint from windows) held at a 45 degree angle and the Cerama-brite cream. Scrape firmly with cleaning cream in small 2" circles. One of those methods should take it off

JED8230ADB down draft

Please don't buy another one!!! This is the most poorly designed cooktop made. You would be much happier with another brand. If you really want a treat try Thermador. I had a Jenn Air installed on an outside wall and vented directly outside, It still set off the smoke detector constantly. Very hard to clean., Very poor burners both open coil and smooth top.
