Cannot find my manual and am not able to drain it, please help. Thank you.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. This sounds like a slow drain.I would check the drain where the drain line hooks up.If that checks ok the most likely culprit would be the drain pump not the timer.

There is no drain plug,if it is not draining,then the drain holes are stopped up with trash and debris,remove the unit from the window,and take it out side,use a water hose to clean it out,and you will be fine,if this was at all helpful,please rate,thank you.

Not draining can be caused by the controller, pump, solenoid valve, or clogged drain.

Check out your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Some connect to sink, fine. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

If the above fails, check to see if your pump is blocked. Pl rate if helped.

make sure that the drain is connected properly at the back.

Make sure that the little drain pipe (usually clear hose) is sitting in the plastic shroud that sits on top of the compressor at the back of the fridge.

try cleaning the drain hose to see if there are any obstructions, cold fat is a favorite!
