2006 Ford F-250 6.0 Engine just shuts down at an idel or going down the road. it has a bad glow plug and shows a code for it . I just replaced the cam posithion sensor. Does the engine keep shuttting

I have had the same problem with my Ford mustang the only thing is that it only shuts down in high idle, after the engine temperature warms up there is no shut down. It could have something to do with the transmission or the temperature sensor the best thing to do is get a full diagnostic and not do it your self.

Quick Tip: How to correctly shut your computer down

This may seem like a simple tip, it is, however it can cause many unneeded problems to your computer if you do not shut it down properly. Do Not shut down your computer by pressing the power button. Whether you have a PC or a laptop, don't use the button. When you go to shut your computer down go to start and shut down and it will shut off. If you do not do this correctly it doesn;t give your computer the proper amount of time to shut down, you can corrupt your Windows files and eventually have problems even booting your computer up. Simple solution that will avoid future problems! Hope this helps!

Going up hill engine shut down

Not enough information for us to make a suggestion. You say the engine shut down? Is the engine seized up or will it start back up? Did the engine make a noise before it shut down? Did it sputter or cough before it shut down? We need more information before we can make any suggestions.

Shuts down going down the road shuts off completely

vehicle shuts down while driving down road and does not start backup for at least 20 minutes, could be a bad crank sensor. if bad it will start and run fine, but it will keep shutting down until fixed.

My Sony VGN-NR180E will not shut down when shutting down.

Some fo the software crashes whie it's shutting down. Either load up a system restore point from before theis problem started, or reinstall some of the software until you no longer get the problem.
Careful with system restore because when you select a date for it to go back to it will uninstall any software that you installed after that date. It will NOT delete your personal data, like pictures, music, etc even if you put them on the computer after the date selected.

Shut down computer but some lights stay on

Your are not "shutting down" the laptop. It is going into "Stand-by" mode.

#1:
When you want to shut down,
select [Start]
then select "Shut down" and not "Stand-by"

The power button will also work.
#2:
When you want to shut down,
Press the power button and nothing else.
The laptop will log you OFF and "shut down"

My computer keeps shuting down at any given time

computer abruptly shutting down does not have anything to do with hdd errors unless it tell you there was hard disk error

if computer shuts down in like a second or two, you might have a problem with the power supply unit, or the power cord that goes to the computer is loose in the tower or on the wall socket.

if the computer shuts down normally i.e. windows displaying "windows is shutting down" massage that you would get when you normally shut down pc...then you might wanna check your power plan option from the control panel. disable any hibernation/shut down options.
go to control panel, go to power option, go to edit this power option..
you should see if you have selected to shut down the computer after a given time...select this to never and it may solve the problem.
