Question about Whirlpool GEW9250 Electric Dryer
What are some of the safety switches and how could you check to see if they are on or working. My dryer is the same model and has stopped heating. Everything works great other than no heat. It gave no error and will go through the complete cycle with no other problems detected. The dryer is around 5 years old best I can recall.
The first thing to do would be to check if the element is broken. Most dryers have a couple of screws that hold the top, and it opens like the hood of a car. The next step is to remove the drum, usually a couple of screws holding the front.
