The printer requires to be plugged into the power source with the power cord connected to its power adapter to function. Please contact Lexmark technical support for assistance if you lost the cord or the adapter. Thanks.
The power cord should look very similar to the one in the back of your computer. BestBuy, Radio Shack or any electronics store should carry it. Verify with your computer power cord first before buying.
if the power cord was a three female end ( like a computer power cord ) you just have to go to the nearest Best Buy or the Thrift store and get one. 2. If it is a specialized cord you will have to call the manufacturer. Some cord are made proprietary to the device.
Power cord receptacle is on the right side of the "Protrusion" on the rear of the machine (as you look at it from the back). I assume you are missing the cord? I know that cables2go.com has replacement cables & power cords for almost everything under the sun. They do sell Lexmark replacement cables for around $32.00. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer.
