How can i transfer a theme from the computer to my cellphon ?e

You can use a PC suite for transfer..

How to Use Nokia PC Suite

Those who own Nokia cell phones are lucky enough not to have to deal with the dreaded plea for a call from all their friends and associates, due to the fact that they have lost their cell phone and all the numbers associated with it. Using Nokia PC Suite software, you can backup all your contacts, photos, text messages, video files, music files, and all other content on your cell phone using any PC computer. The software is available for download from the Nokia website, and any Nokia cell phone equipped with a mini-USB port can use the Nokia PC Suite software.

Things You'll Need:

* Nokia cell phone with mini-USB port
* Nokia PC Suite software, downloadable from Nokia.com or packaged with your cell phone
* Mini-USB to USB cable
* Micro SD Card, included with your Nokia phone or purchased separately
* Optional: Bluetooth-equipped laptop
* Windows XP or Vista software

Instruction

Make sure the Nokia phone you own, or are thinking of purchasing, is equipped with a mini-USB port. Nearly all new Nokia handsets have a port, and many of the older high-end Nokia phones do as well. You will need a mini-USB cable, which should come with your phone.

Go to (for North American Nokia phones) to download the Nokia PC Suite software. You will need a Windows 2000 or greater machine for the software to work. Click the link to download, and then install the software on your PC. Everything you need will be installed onto your hard drive.

Plug in the small end of the mini-USB to USB cable into your phone, and the larger end into your PC. The Nokia PC Suite software, if properly installed, will come up with a dialog box recognizing your phone.

Look on your Nokia cell phone's screen, which will now recognize that the handset is plugged into a PC with Nokia PC Suite software installed. The phone will give you two options: Data Transfer mode and Nokia mode.

Choose Data Transfer mode if you just need to transfer files from your Nokia handset to your PC via Nokia PC software. This will cause your PC to bring up a folder with the contents of your cell phone's internal memory, and/or one for the contents of the micro SD card plugged into your Nokia cell phone, if it has one installed. This will allow you to drag and drop files from your cell phone onto any folder on your Windows machine, or vice versa. The advantage of this is you can install programs you have downloaded off the internet, easily transfer music tracks onto your phone, or any number of other functions.

Pick Nokia Mode if you want to take full advantage of the features your Nokia PC Suite software allows. This will bring up a graphical user interface that allows you to do a variety of things with the click of a button.

Click the "Backup Phone" option to bring up a dialog box that will allow you to, all at once, backup the address book, images, video files, music files, programs, text and MMS messages, and anything else you have on your Nokia handset all at once. This feature becomes extremely useful should you ever break, lose or otherwise destroy your phone. As long as you purchase another Nokia model, you can instantly transfer your entire contacts list and other information onto your new phone.

Take some time to look around at the other different modes Nokia PC Suite software offers the user. You can transfer music files using a dedicated window, where they will be instantly integrated into your cell phone's onboard music player. You can also install programs, through ".jad" and ".jar" files. This will avoid the headaches of having to download software on your cell phone, where any number of security breaches can happen.

Use Nokia PC Suite software to use your phone as a modem to "tether" your laptop to the internet as well. If you have a data plan through your cell phone provider, Nokia PC Suite software will allow you to use an EDGE or 3G connection to connect your laptop to the internet anywhere you have cell phone service. Nokia PC Suite software has any number of other useful features to increase the fun and productivity of your Nokia handset beyond the scope of what you thought a phone could accomplish.

Video files loaded from laptop are not supported by samsung s 5620 monte.

You are right when you say "video from the laptop are not supported" by your mobile. Before you transfer them into your phone, you need to convert the video files. 3gp is the standard for mobile handsets, but there are many files which support on mobile phones. Your handset will support 3gp and mp4 file format videos. So before you copy the video files, convert them using any kind of video converter like xilisoft video converter, you can download them from the net. (search them on the 4shared.com using the keyword, xillisoft full with key, serial.) and download the application, install it in your pc and you are ready to go. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

How can i connect my samsung rant to my pc

Samsung does not offer a Data Kit software package, for the purpose of transferring data between the handset and a personal computer or for using a Sprint handset as a modem for a personal computer. However, depending on the model, there may be a media card slot located on the side of handset or in the battery compartment that allows information to be transferred to a personal computer with the use of a media card reader.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a type of plug-in connection that is used to connect devices, including some handsets, to desktop or laptop PC's. In a handset, USB is useful for quickly transferring files to and from phones, or for synchronizing information with a PC application. The only USB setting needed for data transfer is the Mass Storage Connect to PC setting.
To access the USB setting follow the steps below:
  1. From the standby screen, press the Menu/OK key
  2. Select Tools (0)
  3. Select Mass Storage (6)
  4. Select Connect to PC (1)
  5. Connect the data cable to the PC's USB port and the handset Charger/Accessories jack
Note: No USB driver is needed for Windows 98 or XP. Other operating systems may require a USB driver that can be downloaded from http://www.samsungwireless.com/ usbdownload

How to download the message from Alfatel Mobile Handset?

hi,
you can copy phonebook, messages, images, songs and mms by installing the Alfatel software CD that comes with handset. Install the software to your system. Connect your handset by USB cable or by bluetooth. follow the instructions as per the software so you would be able to transfer them to your system.

or

If you don't have alfatel software cd then better have a try with installing software directly from net http://www.brothersoft.com/mobile/phone/alcatel/
http://mac.wareseeker.com/free-alcatel-mobile-phones-modem-drivers-4.34.0.2705/
select the mobile and install the software.

or

you can also use "Mobile master" software to connect the handset to PC. for free download of mobile master http://www.alivedownload.com/software/software/mobile_master_corporate_edition_7.0.3_build_2727.html
or
http://www.funkytype.com/software/software/mobile-master-corporate-edition-7.3.2-build-3006-200811102811/

click anyone link and download, install them. Now you would be able to transfer all items from mobile to PC and vice-versa.
