The Drum is rotated by a bubberband like item attached to a motor at the base of the dryer. A small amount of lithium grease applied to the band or pulley may stop the squek

either the bottom pulley or the rollers are whats making the squeking noise you can buy a dryer belt kit which comes with two rollers pulley and a new belt for around 25-30 from marcone appliance

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer will not drain. I changed the lint filter, and insured that the drainage hose was free of debris. I removed all the wet clothes, wrung out the excess water, and redistributed the clothes. Still, no draining or spinning. Initially there was a humming sound, but now there is no sound at all when I try to restart the drain or spin cycles. All the lights are appropriately "on".
