Polaris xlt engine troubles engine will start but will only keep running if i play with the choke

Had same problem just this week mine would only run in choke positions simply die in run position i ened find i very small crack in the stem of my fuel filter believe it ir not so i removed it and ran a new line without filter straight in just to see what would happen and it worked ran like a champ put new filter today and still flawless runs great and idles perfect was told it simply was sucking in air threw that small crack witch would screw my fuel flow sounds crazy but hey easy fix you never know

95 polaris xplorer wont stay runnin

There are many reasons your car may not start. Check the fuel supply to your engine. If that's okay, check the wiring to and from the starter for a loose connection. If there is a "clicking" noise when you try to start it, you may need a new starter.

How do i adjust a clutch on a 1997 polaris xlt?

Remove the clutch cover then the spider (special tool required) there are some washers to add between the spider and engine side of clutch shaft to set pulley width. But before you do that when engine is off does belt have side clearance? If the answer is yes, you may only need a new clutch spring as they loose tension with time and idle speed may be engaging clutch
