Xbox 360 will not read any game disc - Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

IMO Never Use a cleaning disc for Gaming consoles. Which Xbox 360 do you have? Is it the Older Model or newer one? You can Try Blowing into Your Xbox disc drive. Is your xbox up to date,you can unplug your xbox 360 and from the wall and the Xbox. Wait 25 Mins and Try again.

Try getting a disc drive cleaner. (Maxwell).

If you have recently tried to mod your Xbox 360 then you did not get the drive key installed correctly. Otherwise the laser lens is either dirty/ starting to weaken. You can either replace the laser lens in the disc drive, try to clean it, try the POT tweak or replace the whole disc drive. Keep in mind if you replace the disc drive you will need to swap the PCBs or the drive keys. Hope this helps.

One. Make sure the bar code on the band on the inner ring is perfectley clean and dusted. Two blow into the disc drive to make sure there is no dust on the laser. The laser in your XBox 360 is probably going out. When lasers start to fail, the first discs that stop reading are newer, dual layer, discs. Single layer discs will still read. As the laser wears out, single layer DVDs will stop reading but CDs will continue to read. Eventually, everything will stop reading and the laser will die.

You can find lasers for the XBox 360 all over the internet. Installing them isn't easy though.

My xbox is not reading discs. please help.

ive got the problem to on some games eg. assassins creed just bought it, it keeps saying read disc error its not the disc its the xbox itself im gunna try and take it bk now.
p.s.the problem is with the memory unit on top.
