I have installed HL DT ST GSA H42N Super Multi DVD RW Drive on my computer and it was working for last 14 months. From the last few days, this drive could not recognize CDs but DVDs are reading and writhing as well. I will be grateful If your technical team support to solve my problem.

- I am also facing the same problem. I had upgraded the firmware of my DVD writer using auto firmware update after which this problem started. I even gave it to service centre, who told that the lens is damaged. - selectchavan

I have a LG GSA-H42N installed in my computer for a year now, but since I reloaded winxp pro sp2 it is only picking up dvds. Could you guide me in the right path of fixing this problem.
