I guess a reinstall of the driver could fix the issue as the software seems not responding the way it should......Hey if u have a USB port try connecting a usb keyboard and see if it has the same problem.....

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The combination of shift+ @ keys gives " Can't email anyone! Thanks,

Shift+2 gives a " when the Keyboard Style is set to Great Britain (UK) instead of USA.
If you want Shift + 2 to make an @ sign, you need to set your operating system to treat the keyboard as a USA keyboard. (English-USA)
For example, in Windows 7, it would be Open Control Panel Click Region and Language Select Keyboard and Languages tab Click "Change Keyboards" Add English->Keyboard->US And then set that as your default.
Other Operating Systems will have a similar procedure.

My Acer key board can not display the at sign above TWO key shows inverted commas instead and the hash sign above THREE shows a Pound sign? Please assist

Hold down the ALT(ernate) GR(aphic) key -- to the right of the SPACE BAR on your keyboard.
Press the '2' key.
Release the '2' key.
Release the ALT GR key.
Does an '@' display?

Check that you are using the "American English" keyboard mapping.
Control Panel -> Regional options.

I NEED A MANUAL TO SHOW HOW TO GET MULTIFUNCTION KEYS TO WORK. FOR EXAMPLE HOW DO I GET THE ALTERNATE USE OF THE "NUMERIC 6 "KEY ie THE" QUESTION MARK" FUNCTION

You must have a different keyboard selected other than the standard US keyboard My numeral 6 has ^ on it and the numeric keypad 6 has a right arrow. One generally uses the SHIFT key to access symbols that are written above the main alpha or numeric key. The numeric keypad on side of PC has a button labeled key marked NUMLOCK that is engaged to allow use of the numerals as a calculator or to also be inserted into text.

Keyboard don-t show the correct symbols

Your keyboard setting in Control panel regional and language options is probably set to US International.
This option allow you to create every special character using combined keys see this page for MS instruction>
If you have a localized keybord (Portuguise, Brazilian or else) you can get the symbol corresponding with keys if you configure the exact keyboard instead of US international.
Of course for same language you can configure multiple keybord.
You can also use for every language the On screen Keyboard you get in Start/program/accessories/ accessibility

Apple key no longer working

The Kensington keyboard is being recognised as a PC-style keyboard, and the software has swapped the action of Apple (Command) and Alt (Option). Go to System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse, and set the Modifier keys correctly in the Keyboard panel.

Datalogic Heron D130 (Barcode Reader) Header setup

Whether or not you can set this feature depends on which interface type you are using if you are using wedge interface then the procedure is described below: The extended Header/Terminator keys for Wedge Interface users can be customized by defining them through a simple keyboard setting procedure. For example, the Numeric Keypad keys can be set for use as Headers or Terminators by substituting the default extended keys using this procedure. The type of computer or terminal must be selected before activating the keyboard setting command. Press and release a key to set it. Some characters may require more than one key pressed simultaneously during normal use (refer to the manual of your PC or terminal for keyboard use). The exact sequence must be indicated to the reader in this case pressing and releasing the different keys. Example: If one has to press the "Shift" and "4" keys simultaneously on the keyboard to transmit the character "$" to the video, to set the "$", press and release "Shift" then press and release "4". Each pressed and released key must generate an acoustic signal on the reader, otherwise repress the key. Never press more than one key at the same time, even if this corresponds to the normal use of your keyboard. Press "Backspace" to correct a wrong key entry. In this case the reader emits 2 beeps. Note: "CAPS LOCK" and "NUM LOCK" must be off before starting the keyboard setting procedure. "SHIFT" must be repressed for each character and cannot be substituted by "CAPS LOCK". Check page 31-33 of the "heron reference manual", downloadable near the bottom of this link page; http://www.datalogic.com/_vti_g2_dwnlDett.aspx?idCF=1&idC=44&rpstry=13_ Hope this helps :)
