Please go to http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0020755.asp?model= and download the driver. Install this on the computer to which your device is connected. If the same has no internet connection, download this file onto a flash drive or burn it to a CD and then transfer to the connected system.

If this still doesnot fix your problem, please let me know.
