I have a brand new Aquos 52" LED TV and I accidentally locked remote operation and THEN found out the front touch screen panel was broken. Any way to manually reset the TV or remote to gain access to...

While the set is turned on, you need to hold the power button until the set shuts off and the led in the middle of the bottom flashes once. Then quickly release the power button and press the vol - and input buttons together along with the power button. Your TV should then turn on and should show you a blue box with the letter K. Now press the vol- and channel- buttons at the same time. You should now be in the service menu. With your remote arrow up until the top line says industry init. Arrow to the right and hit enter. Screen should turn green and say factory init success. I hope this helps you.

2001 Golf, I have the code (four numbers), but need instuctions on how to load it. Number buttons along the front of the radio seem to load a number, bur doesn't step forward to next code properly, andthen...

The sequence of programming for 2001 Volkswagen Golf radio is:
1. Push simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys until on the screen will appear "1000" displayed.
2. Release keys. No more push on "SCAN" and "RDS" keys because otherwise number "1000" will be considered as first safe code attempt.
For example: we have the security code "5079". Then:
3. By the no.# 1 key you will set up the first safe code digit. Push 5 times on the no.# 1 button. The "5" number will be setted.
4. By the no.# 2 key you will set up the second safe code digit. Push 10 times on the no.# 2 button. The "0" number will be setted.
5. By the no.# 3 key you will set up the third safe code digit. Push 7 times on the no.# 3 button. The "7" number will be setted.
6. By the no.# 4 key you will set up the four-th safe code digit. Push 9 times on the no.# 4 button. The "9" number will be setted.
7. Then push again simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys for confirm this safe code. On the screen will be displayed "SAFE" notice. Release keys! For few seconds a radio frequence will be displayed. The radio is now ready for use!

Yesterday I "self-cleaned" by oven.

Hi,

Press the "Off/Clear' button to cancel anything on the display, and reset the microwave. This is a soft reset and will simply get you out of any program you have started. Press it when the cooking complete reminder appears on the display.
Perform a hard reset. Pull the plug out of the wall power supply, and wait a moment. Plug the microwave back into the wall power supply to reset any anomalies with the microwave's memory. You will need to reset the time of day if you perform a hard reset.
Reset the time of day. Press the "Clock" button, and turn the dial to set the hours. Press the dial to enter. Follow the same procedure for the minutes and a.m. or p.m. Press the "Start" button to start the clock. This should help fix the problem.

My printer(epsom rx510) prints too much red/orange in photos. Have tried re calibrating by holding the b/w, colour, stop and power buttons simultaneous till it says on the lcd screen "INIT. EEPROM. ...

My guess is that the CYAN cartridge has run out (or stopped printing due to nozzle blockage), hence the yellow & magenta appear much more dominant.
Check the ink levels in the cartridge &/or get the nozzles cleaned.

How to Fix a Polaroid LCD TV Screen

<p>A Polaroid LCD TV delivers its picture via DVD player or cable connection to your home or office. After setting up your device and using it, you might experience technical difficulties with power loss and picture quality. Navigating through a few steps of self-maintenance will have your Polaroid TV running smoothly again in little time. You can examine your TV's power cord for damage, rewire a DVD player connection, and adjust your Polaroid's backlight.<br /> Difficulty:Moderate <span>Instructions</span> <ol> <li> <ul> <li> <span></span> Turn your Polaroid around so that the back is facing you, as a first step in correcting a power loss issue. Examine the length of the power cord from the back panel of the Polaroid to the wall outlet for damage, such as tears or rips. Replace the cord, if you see damage. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet and inspect the metal receptors (prongs) for dirt. If the prongs are dirty, clean them with a dry cleaning cloth. Plug a separate electrical device into the outlet and turn it on to confirm that the outlet is performing correctly. Plug the Polaroid TV back into the outlet, and try again.<br /> </li> <li> <span></span> Twist the Polaroid TV's back panel towards you so that the connected cables and jacks are easily accessible to you. If you're experiencing problems getting a picture from your DVD player, inspect the connection of the audio/video cables to your "Composite In" jacks. There are three cables in a standard audio/video setup: a yellow cable, a red cable, and a white cable. Unplug all three cables from their jacks to reset the connection. Insert the yellow-tipped cable into the "Video" port, which is yellow-colored to make matching the cables easier. Insert the white-tipped cable into the "L" (left audio) port and the red-tipped cable into the "r" (right audio) port. Perform the same steps on the audio/video cable out ports of the DVD player, and try again.<br /> </li> <li> <span></span> Raise the TV's backlight level, if you're having trouble seeing the picture. Push the "Menu" button (located on your remote control), and the TV setup menu will appear. Use the navigation buttons located on your remote control to scroll to "Image," and push "Ok" -- located within the navigational buttons on your remote control. A list of options will be displayed, such as "Contrast," "Hue," and "Saturation." Choose "Brightness" from the options. Use the four-way navigation buttons to raise the brightness (make your screen brighter and more illuminated) or lower the brightness (make your screen darker).<br /> </li></ul> </li></ol>
