Soft ware won't load onto my new computer, I have windows 7. Computer should exceed all requirements for this soft ware. The computer is a toshiba satellite c655. Tried "driver fix " soft ware to no avail.

Try going into safemode
After you see the Toshiba logo disappear. Press and hold the F8 button.

You should get a choice. Choose Safemode. If it loads try doing a system restore.

Unfortunately, if it does not load, then your Windows OS is too corrupted and needs to be re-installed. You will need the original disc that came with your laptop to do this.

You mean to say CD reader not opening? Use needle to release shutter lock, insert driver cd in and drivr it for software loading.. check fig for easy understand..any difficulty getback to me..thanks

You have windows 7 so do a system restore. While booting the pc keep tapping f8 until a black screen appears with a list of choices. follow onscreen directions. Don't do a destructive restore. Do a system restore back to a previous date.
You will see it.
After you do it, run a full system anti-virus scan as well as spy-ware etc....

How new is new? Can you return it? If is new and you don't have any data on it, try to run the Factory Recover option, usually activated by an F11 or F10 key during bootup. Try downloading / installing said software, whilst logged on to the administrator account. Having admin rights on your account is not the same as being logged onto the admin account.

Who knows why, but some programs on Vista require full access to the admin rights. Maybe Bill Gates can answer this one for us :)

Most 3rd party programs will also require full access to the admin rights also.
