I can not configure my netgear.it did not come with any installation disc.

To RESET the Netgear, power up the Netgear then press andhold the RESET button at the back of the router until all the LEDs flash.Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on yourcomputer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -

The default login = admin
The default PW = passwordYou can now change the default admin password and configurethe wireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

To access the Setup Wizard installation and configuration program on your router:

1. Connect your router to a computer by plugging one end of an Ethernet Cable into any of the four LAN ports on the back of your router.
2. Log in to your NETGEAR router by browsing to http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com. Enter the username (admin) and password. By default, the password is password or 1234 unless it has already been changed.
3. To install your router, simply click on the "Setup Wizard" link at the top of the left-hand navigation menu once you are logged into your router.

Installing the Software and Adapter

To install the wireless-N USB adapter with custom setup:

• Smart Wizard. Allows you to manage your wireless networks with the NETGEAR

WNA1000 software and to connect securely using Push 'N' Connect.

to configure the netgear router and to secure its network. . . . 1, first make sure that your laptop is connected directly to the netgear router via ethernet cable. 2. after securing step 1, on your computer, open browser, ( internet explorer or firefox ) 3. go to the address bar, the one with the http:\\ and erase everything inside it. 4. type in there, 192.168.1.1 or www.routerlogin.net. 5. username is " admin " password is " password " 6. you would see netgear set up wizard. 7. for wireless configuration, click wireless settings on the left side of the set up wizard. 8. you can edit network name, and get your network security key under security options. make sure to choose WPA PSK TKIP. so that you can have a personalize network key 9. the network security key is the " passphrase " then click apply. then your all set for wireless connectivity. you dont need the installer, just follow these steps

Try NOT using any install disk.

Turn the TISCALI router off.
Turn the NetGear off.

Use an Ethernet cable to connect from the LAN port on the TISCALI router to the WAN port on the router.

Use another Ethenet cable to connect from one LAN port on the router to the network-port on your computer.

Turn the TISCALI on. Wait 60 seconds.
Turn the NetGear on. Wait 60 seconds.
Restart your computer.
Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD
Press Enter
Type IPCONFIG
Press Enter
Look for output like: Default Gateway....192.168.123.456
Note that the '123.456' will be some other numbers.
Start Internet Explorer.
Type http://192.168.123.456 (substitute the current values)
Login to the web-server running on the router.
Run the "Wireless Networking Setup Wizard"
to configure a SSID, an encryption-level (use 'WPA')
and a password for your network.
After the router restarts, you should be able to get wireless access, using the SSID and password that you configured your router to use.

DISC WOULD BE GREAT BUT U CAN DOWNLOAD OPTIONS AND SET UP TO Y-FI IF U LIKE AND
MAKE SURE YOUR COMP IS SET UP FOR THAT. HAVE A GOOD ONE.

You don't need the cd. You can configure the router through the browser. Here's the manual link. The chapter easy setup and configuration will help you set it up without the cd.

Have you run the installation disc of your netgear ? if yes and still it says driver not found you have to run the disc again because drivers are the software of your netgear unintallv and reinstall the netgear software it will reinstall the drivers...
