Audio but only black screen for video on WS65807

First, the set has a hard reset but it will NOT affect convergence which is stored in a separate area of the set.

Model indicated has 3 hidden menus---all accessed with the Original remote and a 4 digit code.

At your own risk:

This is a V17 chassis that was used in 8 models.

It has 3 hidden tech menus: With set on:

Option menu is 8270 enter---The Option menu reset will return all settings to factory and also will clear any glitches out of the way--it as stated can cause Convergence not to be affected.

Circuit adjust menu: (stay out as one wrong move and fatal things can happen is : 8257 enter.

Convergence adjust menu: (better than customer and SAVES adjustments made in to the DCU or digital convergence unit in the set.

keep in mind I do this here for free and have worked on hundreds of these Mitsubishi sets.

I have a dish network 322 will play in one room, but 2nd room it continues to try to acquire a satellite

Hey there, my name is Cheri Torres with DISH Networkcustomer service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. When one of your televisions are working fine and the other is trying to acquire satellitesignal there could be a few different things going on such as a bad satelliteinput on receiver, bad separator etc. The first step you are going to want totry is performing a hard reset by unplugging your DISH Network receiver box for10 seconds then plugging it back in. If you have tried the hard reset the nextstep would be to check your entire cabling make sure all your cables are tightand secure coming from the receiver and running into the wall. After all thecables are checked you are going to run a check switch test. In order to run aCST you will need to press the menu button then 6(system setup),1(installation), then 1(point dish). Once you are in the point dish screen youwill select check switch, then on the next screen select test. Allow the testto finish then you can proceed to cancel out of all the menus. Once you are outof the menus you will see the satellite trying to acquire the signal againallow this to finish. In the case that none of these steps fix the issue youare going to need a technician to go to your home to fix this issue for you inperson. In order to get a tech set up you can call our customer service line at1-800-333-3474 or you can email me with your account information and phonenumber and I can help you get a tech set up, my email I hope you find this information useful if youneed anything else feel free to post back here or email me.

I have a bell express view 6100 but the remote does not work. It appears that I should be on frequency 1 but my receiver is set to frequency 11. Is there a way I can reset the receiver to the original...

We would be happy to help you with that. We would recommend programming your DISH remote to the remote address your receiver is set to. First access "SystemInfo" at TV1, this can be done by pressing the menu button on the front of your receiver. Using the remote that is NOT functioning, pressand hold the "SAT" button until all the mode buttons at the top of the remote light up. On the number pad, enter the remote address we want, in your case this would be "11", press the pound (#) button, then finally press the record button 3 times. After re-addressing the remote you should be able to use the remote to exit the menus. We hope these steps get your remote working. Thanks for being a valued DISH Network customer!

If you havent set up an appointment yet, dish network receiver dont always run well off of power strips no matter how fancy they are, it has to do with the voltage pull off of the LNB, The LNB is the big white thing at the end of your dish. Chances are that your receiver has gone bad due to over heating or rough shipping, you can set up an appointment or call dish tell them the receivers cutting off they will mail you one and send you the postage for you to mail back the other one.

see if there is a "default" option, if not set everything back to the middle, if the colors are still off you sure its not the convergence?
most big screens allow you to change "color temperature" it's like a default adjustment for 3 different brightness levels.... ie...COOL, WARM picture will show obvious changes in brightness

No sound

Look in the menus for a setting to turn the speakers on and off. Make sure there isn't a switch on the back to turn off the internal speakers.

Reset WorkCentre 24, Xerox

In menus you browse to the service tab, then serivice diagnostics. Go to NVRAM reset and perform the NVM reset.
Before you do that, print out a configuration page if you want to rememebr the network settings. It will set the IP address back to default also.
