Maybe you dont't keep ot in a good cooling area. The same thing happened to me. Do this:
Take out your hard drive and let it cool for 5 mins.
Dissconnet all the cables including the controlers.
When your done dissconnet the power cord.
After this is done let the xbox cool for 5-10mins.
Reconnect everything except the hard drive then see if it works. When the xbox is back to normal it is safe to put the hard drive back.

My xbox360 (the new one which comes with kinnect), no longer works. I turned it on this morning (4/16/11) and the green light turned red and all these different languages showed up on the screen. A E68...

E68: Voltage Error... This error means that the Xbox 360 has insufficent power to function properly. This can be caused by an error in the hard drive or the fans that make them **** up too much power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the hard drive and USB devices. If that doesn't solve it, then you need to call Microsoft. They will repair it for you if it is still under warranty.

The xbox360elite the red light flashes and e68 comes up on the screen with different language on the tv screen is also showing.

E68 means that you have a bad hard drive. Take out your hard drive and turn the unit on to confirm. Once this is done just buy a new hard drive and your good to go! Or now Microsoft just released where you can use a Flash drive :]

1 red ring E68

The single red light on the Xbox shows that there is a hardware failure.
The E68 error is linked to a problem with the Xbox 360 Hard drive. Try removing the hard drive from the Xbox and attempt to use the Xbox again.
If the error does not occur when the hard drive is not connected then you will need to replace the hard drive.
If the error still occurs then the console will need to be repaired.

System error E68

E68: Hard Drive Error... It could be a problem with the Hard Drive itself or a problem with the internal connection to the hard drive, Try removing the hard drive and playing without it, This can also be caused by a Hard Drive Eprom Error. Some also believe this might be caused by a problem with the fans.
