First ..for to work make sure you have the ge force driver installed for the video card ..and not just the automatically installed one from the windows..
than connect the monitor in the vga out for secondary monitor ..and get to the video card control panel ..in the windows control panel ..and enable the second monitor ..and set it as clone ..or in dual mode..which will not place the icons on it ..but will be an extension ..
This can be set and enabled also if you run the nvidia desktop manager from the control panel ..and set it clone ..if you want the same thing displayed in the same time ..or extended to the second one..(dual ) which will have some options ..
For the dual mode the good thing is that you can run separate applications in monitors..by opening them and drag them to the other monitor ..it will act like and extension of yours..
If you go to desktop properties.by click right on desktop ..and choose properties..than settings ..and in there monitor ..you can actually identify them and drag them to switch places to correspond to the actually position ..and after that the mouse will naturally get from one to the other if you point to ..
The normal behavior will be that once a aplication opened and dragged to the second monitor ..when you make it ful screen should extend only in that one ..but some players will make trouble and only will get to full screen in the primary one ..To avoid that use the latest free BS player ..
