Print Quality Troubleshooting steps. Follow this steps for you to make it work again..
Clean all the inks
- open the cartridge access door.
- take out all the inks that you have on the printer. (put them on the table upside down)
- get a wet clean cloth.
- on each cartridge you need wipe it out the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge it self.
- put the inks back in to the printer.
- close the cartridge access door
- turn off the printer
- unplug/disconnect the power cable
- wait for 1min.
- plug the power cable back in back in to the printer.
- turn on the printer.
- access the setup menu (press the wrench icon on the printer or setup button)
- Go to tools, then look for clean printhead
- align the printer, go to setup menu then, go tools under tools menu look for "align printer".
- after aligning the printer it will print a quality diagnostic page and it should be okay now.
If you still having issues w/ it call HP printers support department 1-800-474-6836
