Question about DeLonghi Esclusivo Magnifica ESAM3300 Espresso Machine
Hi. Have the water container filled with water but pitcher light is blinking and no water will come out of the machine.
The machine's pump has a tiny plastic ball (like a ballpoint ball, but plastic) that blocks and unblocks water flow from a metal tube. For me, it got stuck inside the tube, i.e. the ball had got too small. I replaced it with a slightly larger, metal ballpoint ball and everything has been working fine for months now.
This means taking the pump apart. Alternatively, you can order a new pump for some 20 dollars online and simply replace it. This is easier. The pump is located in the back of the machine, so you need to take off the back panel to replace it.
