Question about LG CHOCOLATE VX8500 Cellular Phone
All three phones started off with the problem that when I hit the camera button it turned the phone off.
Then all three phones screens went all white. The battery reset only worked on one, and by "worked" I mean that there's a verizon screen that won't go away.
Verizon won't let me downgrade to a cheaper, older, more reliable phone. I take care of my cell phones, no water damage and no dropping.
After the 3rd phone, they let you switch phones. Chocolates are GARBAGE.

Verizon cellular phone service. The Chocolate, also known by the
model number VX8500, comes in a variety of colors and includes
features such as a camera and a music player. The phone can be reset
to factory default settings.
1. Access the menu by pressing the "OK" button.
Lightly tap the backwards button--the one with two small triangles
pointing to the left--on your keypad.
Press "OK," and then the number "5" button
Type in your lock code, a 4-digit pin.
Choose "Reset Default" by pressing "3."
Read the message on the screen and press "OK."
Choose "Revert" by pressing the number "1."
