Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I am having problem chargin my PSP. I tried diffrent thing i even purchase a new power coord and it work for two weeks. and now am back to the same thing PSP wont charge..
Your problem is obviously not the power cord. Its the powerjack(the port on the psp where you plug in the cord)You will need to take apart the PSP and check if the jack is a toast or developed a dry-solder(loose contact). Also look for any burnt capacitors and resistors. Shouldn't be a very difficult repair unless you are rookie. If you have problems determining the values of caps or resistors then do post back..

This can be repaired, however, it will require a purchase of a new LCD screen, and possibly a new shell. I repair this kind of thing at my home. I run the Playstation Clinic and charge reasonable prices to repair Video game consoles and DVD players. All together I can replace both the LCD and face cover including return shipping will be $80. This repair should only be done by a experienced Repair service. Even knowledgeable repair people that have never disassembled a PSP can damage the psp so badly it will require the replacement of the motherboard as well, if not done properly. The motherboard costs about $100. If your willing to get it repaired you can contact me at Repairtech@Playstationclinic.com. We specialize in PSP repairs. 90 day warranty! The price above is only adding $25 Labor for up to 3 hours of work. Shipping will be about $5. The LCD screen is about $30, and the cover is about $20. So your Repair would be either $60 or $80 depending on what parts are needed.
