Question about Canon PowerShot A85 Digital Camera
Hi, it has been a few days since my camera wont work, when i on it it says "memory card error" and i cant take pictures, because on the screen it says that there is "0" pictures. I tried to figure out what was wrong , but i cant. please help me. thank you
Bet you have a bent flash card pin. Remove the card and look in the slot for a bent pin. If so, remain calm as you might be able to fix it. Remove the camera batteries and card. Use a small/skinny jeweler's flat screwdriver to bend the pin back as close as possible. Take your time and use as much patience as you can muster (take a breather in between if needed).
It doesn't have to be perfect, just as close as you can get it. When it's there, take your flash card and "SLOWLY" insert it. The card itself should fine-align the pin. Remove the card, and verify that the pin is still straightened. If so, reinsert the card and try it out.
