Considering the fact that you cannot add a memory card to the calculator you have two options:
Preserve the limited RAM and Flash memory of the calculator and use it just as a calculator: No games.
Delete unnecessary applications (especially the languages you do not understand and do not need). If you delete a language you should also delete the other applications that are in that language. Periodic table, Study cards etc.
To delete an application
Press [2nd][[+] to open the (MEM)ory management
Select [2:Mem Mgt/Del..]
Scroll down till you reach [A:Apps]
Highlight and Press {ENTER]
Use down arrow to highlight an application you do not want and press the [DEL] button.
You will be asked "Are you Sure?"
If you are sure you want to delete press [2:Yes] to confirm the deletion.
Keep in mind that most problems of fast draining of batteries, strange calculator behavio(u)r are related to the use of 3rd party games downloaded from the INTERNET.
Your calculator comes with APPS, but probably didn't come with programs unless you've downloaded some from the TI site or linked a program from another calculator.
Your APPS or programs cannot be deleted without going through the memory mgt/del screen. In other words, you can't press APPS, arrow down to the APP and hit the delete key and delete your APP.
If for some reason you accidentally delete a TI APP or a program, I think as long as you have registered you calculator with TI, you can download the missing APP or program from their site.
To disable APPS & programs (necessary for some standardized tests). With the calculator off, hold down the left and right arrow keys at the same time then press on. A disable screen will come up and you can choose to disable them. However if you do this you will not be able to use them again until you enable them again.
To enable, link to another calculator and send an app or program from that calculator to yours. This will turn your apps and programs back on.
