This phone has been discontinued. As such, replacement batteries are not available.

(Note: This phone originally cost about $20. A replacement battery - if one was available - would be about $12 to $15. It would be more prudent (read: cost effective) to purchase a newer phone.)

I put new batteries into the camera but it continually tells me "low battery". What's wrong??? Do I need a specific brand or type of battery?

Yes, you are correct.

Digital camera need a high drain battery like NIMH or ALKALINE type, and don't a multi purpose ( standard battery).

My favorite battery is Energizer 2500 mAH ( recharged type).

Please check the battery you are using right now and replace it as guided above. If there is no internal problem on your digital camera, this recommend batteries will working just fine.

I have a Model # 26998GE1-C and I need to know the battery type for this phone. Please help.

Hi!

Your battery is Nickel-metal hydride battery, a type of rechargeable battery 3.6v Ni-MH 2000mah. You should save these information should you need to purchase a need battery for your phone.

Does the battery need to be vented on a Jaguar

The new battery is most likely a gel type - they are zero maintenance, non-vented batteries. They are also becoming much more common than the older lead-acid style.
Hope this helps, Sherwin

It says battery exausted even with new batteries

I beleive your batteries are of incorrect type or you need to set the type of the battery through menu. My favorite batteries are from Wal-mart: Energizer rechargeable Ni-Mh 2450mAh, (15 min recharging time) they fit any type of camera without setting the battery type through menu. Some incorrect type of batteries often damage the CCD. Ni-Mh Energizer never damages the CCD (black screen), while regular (non-rechargeable) Energizers may damage CCD in Sony S700 or similar cameras.

2000 Jaguar S-Type Battery

I had to change the battery in my 1999 S-Type, you will need the radio code, I also needed to reprogramme the board computer which is easy if you have your manual at hand, also the car might act strangely for a while, but this is explained in your users manual, nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps.
