Question about HP Photosmart D5160 InkJet Printer
The printer will not print and keeps de faulting to photo printing
If you are using windows XP for the operating system try this.
Left click once on the start button, slide to & left click once on printers and faxes. In the printers and faxes window right click once on you're default printer HP 5160 slide to & left click properties. In the next window click the button, printing preferences. Change the printer's settings in this window. After making changes, click apply & Ok.

Make sure you are using HP's most up to date software for you're printer. Click this link & follow the instruction on the web.
If you are running window Vista, check Vista for updates. Make sure you're printer is turned on while updating.
