Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF210 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Cycle stops Anytime i put a wash on, the machine stalls and i have to knock it off then move onto the next stage such as rinse and spin then spin.It also leaked from the door the other day. The machine is quite old, about 8 or 9 yrs. Is there any point in getting it fixed or would I be better off just buying a new 1. Also I can't seem to find the filter to empty it, I know its at the back of the machine somewhere, just can't see it.

The filter is inside the m/c Empty this and it will work again.
you need to tip the m/c over and unto the jubilee clip on the bottom of drom to large black hose inside you can remove the white plastic filter container...this will be full of crud.

it is either a broken wire to your heating element or the element itself is open circuit. when the water does not heat the machine will not move onto next stage of wash.

GE Top Load Washing Machine -- Agitator will not cycle

Agitator's don't spin on wash cycle.

I would suggest washing the clothes without soap until they rinse clear. If you have hard water, the soap will not easily rinse out of clothes, or off of you when you use soap to wash or shower.

Reduce the amount of soap you use in each wash if this is the case. It sounds like your washing machine is working right.

check to make sure you have't got the rinse hold button pressed in. If it is your machine will stop at the end of it's rinse cycle and will not go into its final spin.

Does not spin in most cycles

It sounds like your timer is defective.  If this is the case you will have to replace it.
