Take the phone to a mobile service center and have them reflash the phone's firmware.

You don't, your phone is GSM, Verizon uses CMD, a gsm phone can not work on a cmd network.

Motorola Raxr VXX keys frozen except on/off button

I took out the battery and stuck it in the freezer for a half hour or so, this worked, but only temporarily. then it would go back to the same status. After that, I took out the battery and left it under my laptop for a half hour (our laptop is always hot). This worked and my phone has worked perfect since then.

Verizon told me to get a new phone, too, but don't do it until you try this.

Phone frozen on main screen

Tyr turning off the power and then starting back up after a few minutes. If that doesn't work, try taking out the battery, leaving it out for a few minutes and then starting it back up. If that doesn't work, call customer service.

Frozen buttons except red end call button

This is a common problem, it has to do with the keypad flex. either the connector on the top part of your phone is unpluged or your flex is damaged. Open the top of the phone where the screen is at (4 torx screws) genlty remove the cover. you will see two connectors, one that goes to the camera, the other is the one you want. genlty pry it off upwards, I would also clean it with some IPA (rubbing alcohol) and a brush, re-connect it pushing down firmly, you will fill it when it connects. if it doesnt work, you can purchase a new flex, if you need repair help, let me know I can try to repair

All the keys except the call end key froze

Sounds like a glitch in the "flash" program. Visit your local wireless providers store to see if they will "update the flash" for you. If they won't, then contact Motorola directly. They are very good about warranty and will most likely overnight you a replacement. Best regards, torgo
