If your compressor has a starting relay it will have numbers printed on it which can be cross over to a replacement. Some people refer to the contactor as a starting relay. A starting relay will have three terminals on it. Numbered 1-2-5. If there are more terminals on the relay they are just for connections.

Why is my Intertherm nordyne ac unit fan not coming on?

It could be a bad wire or broken, burned etc. Or the capacitor is bad. The motor may have seized up.

Copy this link not sure why the Ac part at the end isn't attached to the link but it is part of it.

Hello it is so bad you can not get through on phone tried for a week, and when your ask to leave a after 30 minutes, message, tells you box is full, fustrated. Can you re-send me part #6378402000 under...

Rick, I'm sorry but FixYa is not the company that you spent 30 minutes on the phone with or sent you a part for your AC unit. We are a website that supplies information on how to troubleshoot and repair numerous things. I think you have us confused with another company. Perhaps, the manufacturer of your AC unit. Also, I would like to caution you about furnishing you name and address on a website, that thousands of people look at each week. In this day and time, it's a very risky thing to do.

Hope I have been of some help to you.

Trying to find a dual capacitor for Intertherm a/c model # s3qa-048ka

That system uses a 40+5/370 capacitor. The Intertherm part # is 620888. You can also use a 40+5/440 cap. You can pick one up at a local dealer or distributor, or order online. Look at spending about $15 for the capacitor.

Intertherm furnace/AC, fan on the furnace won't shut off.

How old is the intertherm. The old ones have fan limit switch and sometimes they stick. The new ones have a fan baord or time delay relay. They go bad from moisture and they just go bad sometimes. It sounds like you just have a shorted relay. If you think you can replace it you can get a relay at any parts store. Need the model number of unit. If not just call a service tech for free estimate. I have a intertherm model feh-017h electric

It's the heat kit in the unit that is causing the problem. You need to do a continuity test on it to eleminate that they have shorted. This is the only thing in an electric furnace that will blow a fuse on it. Intertherm is a Nordyne product for manufactured homes. Of coarse they still sell them! I am a Nordyne dealer. Also a sequencer can not cause a fuse to blow. The service guy just wants to make money from you by installing a new unit. You can either re-wire the heat kit or you can purchase a new one and have it installed. If you are referring to the heat kit for 159.00, then that's a fair price for it if you are a non licensed person.
