Question about Dishwashers

Open Question

Back of Beko dishwasher so hot it burned my waterpipe, is this normal??

I could smell burning the other day and traced it to the cold water inlet pipe on the rear of my machine.

I will go and buy a replacement pipe, but where the pipe had touchedthe back of the machine it has melted onto the rear of the dishwasher.

Is this a normal thing for it to get this hot??

My dishwasher is a Beko EcoCare D3422FS.

SOURCE: dishwasher not working

The motor may be burned out or there may be another electrical issue which would also cause the symptoms you describe. Call around and try to get an estimate, and at the same time look at new ones on question is how secure will u feel with that that it has acted up like this.

SOURCE: Bosch Dishwasher Classix

I've had the same problem TWICE. It seems the natural vibration of the machine loosens wire nuts and leads to the problem. Soldering the connection and then placing a yellow wire nut over the soldered connection works fine to stop the problem. This machine has a electric water heater to sterilize the dishes and draws a lot of power, near the limit of the connection, more than a standard dishwasher. I called Bosch twice about this problem, only the second time when I stated that my lawyer might call them back did they admit that there is an issue with the vibration of the machine leading to the wire nut becoming loose and suggested I solder the connection. Great dishwasher, lousy customer service. They have know about this problem for years.

There's only one pipe for water is it a cold water dishwasher or hot model number adp755

If there is only a single water inlet then it has to be connected to the cold water connection. Generally dishwashers use internal heater elements to heat the water during relevant wash and rinse cycles.
Hope this helps.

My dishwasher is leaving a residue on my dishes and not fully cleaning them. When I use the HEAT dry or SANI Heat, I smell a burning smell and not sure why this is. Solution?

possible unit is not getting enough water into unit...this could be from a bad water inlet valve if the water is not high enough in unit the heater will get to hot as it is designed to heat the water to sanitize. try a new water valve and see if this cures your problem

Water no going into dishwasher smell coming out like burning

check your voltage at water solinoid. if volatage present. replace valve. if none check level switch or vater level sensor. most likely if no voltage will be control.

No hot water

I am afraid that you have burned the heating element out or an inline fuse is burned out

Mazda eunos leaking cold water, engine running hot and smells like burning rubber, temp gage is not showing a problem. Could it be the themosat?

Unless your gauge is faulty you engine probably is not overheated. Any vehicle engine at normal operating temperature is hot. I'm guessing but I bet your normal operating temperature is about 185 degrees. You say it is "leaking cold water". Were you using the air conditioner when this took place? If so that is normal condensation. As for the burning smell I would look at the exaust area to see if a piece of trash has caused it.

I have beko dishwasher works fine but no hot water is it just the element which needs replacing or could it another problem MODEL DWD4310S

How far is your water heater from your dishwasher. I knew someone who had to get a circulating pump. His dishwasher was so far form the water heater so when the dishwasher would fill, it used the cold water that is sitting in the pipes and by the time the hot water got there, the dishwasher didn't need any more water. the pump will keep the water circulating back and forth to and from the hto water heater. Or you an get one of those electric small heaters that heat on the spot as well.

A burning smell and steamy smoke come out when we open the door.

Normally, the last part of any cycle involves using the heater element inside, and at the bottom of, the dishwasher to give dishes a final hot rinse. Possibly some small plastic-type material has become melted and stuck to the element - which will remain hot even after all water is discharged. Hence the smell.
