Hi,

If you want to have a High Quality Graphics on your HDTV you just need to use a HDMI cable or Component Cables that transmit High Definition Quality of Video. Settings of Video will automatically be adjusted. HDMI Cables transmit both high def video and audio signals.

I have a HDMI problem with my PS3. I have it

You will need to turn on the PS3 and hook it up with rca so you can access the console menus. Turn it on and get to the main dashboard. 1. Go to Settings -> Display Settings (not video) 2. Select [ Video Output Settings ] 3. Select HDMI 4. Select Resolution 5. Select Screen Size 6. Save the settings 7. Reboot the console. This should resolve the problem. We've seen PS3 consoles that would not reset by performing a hard reset. We were able to resolve this issue through the settings menu though. Let me know if it is still giving you issues.Hank GATpro Repairs

to C_LATKA:
Hi, I recently bought a 47" LCD LG the latest model and I read that you had purchased it previously and I wanted to know how you found the quality of picture on the LCD? At the moment ours is a bit blurry. I hope it was worth buying. Do you think we just need to tune the picture quality?

PS3 surround sound

You will need the optical cable. My receiver only passes video through the hdmi. So I hooked up the HDMI cable to the tv, and the optical cable to the receiver. Once that is done you have to go to the audio settings for the PS3 and chose audio through the optical.

Cannot output 1080p with a full hd 1080p hdtv

In the settings menu, go to video settings. You can have the PS3 search for "optimal settings" This will tackle both video & audio.
On a side note, you didn't need to spend all that money a HDMI cable. ( I'll bet it's a 'Monster' cable, right? ) The $16 Phillips at walmart is just as good. Unless your doing "broadcast quality digital" work, the expensive cables are overkill. Sorry, bro.

Connecting ps3 to akai lct2060

I had mine connected with HDTV cables with no problem. It also took care of the poor sound quality issue with the internal dvd player.

OUTPUTS DONT WORK?

hook it back up to the HDTV and get into the menus. Get into the video menu and make sure that it is NOT set for progressive scan (normal TV's are Interlace).
