This could be caused by reduced flow through the shower.
Make sure that the shower head is not blacked with Scale, and that your water pressure is not running lower than usual.
May have a tripped thermal overload or blown fuse. Some overloads reset automatically but some will have a red button to reset it with. Some have to be replaced.
it sounds like the flow is too low and causing the heat chamber to overheat ( or the heat sensor is faulty and thinks it is too hot) is the water too hot before it goes cold?
If this is for a hot and cold water shower, you have to replace the mixing valve to get the right result. However, if you can get a repair kit for your hot and cold mixing valve, you may repair it. And get it done.
The plumbers screwed up when they installed your showers. There are two connections on each shower. one for hot and one for cold. they connected the two hot water lines together with a T fitting and then ran a line to the main hot water line and tied it in. Then they connected the two cold water fittings with a T and ran that line to the main hot water line and tied it in there instead of into a cold water line like they were suppose to. This is the only possible logical solution to this problem. They tied your cold water connections to both showers into a hot water line instead of a cold water line.
