first of all, thanks for the reply.

here are the devices are not installed when i view the device manager.

    - the onboard network adapter cannot be detected. i even tried to install a pci network card, still not windows can't detect.

maybe it's because of the 2 devices above are not installed?

i've read the motherboard specification, the network adapter brand/model is Marvell Yukon 88E3016.

btw, i have a fresh installed WINXP SP3 OS.

i'm hoping for your soonest reply. thanks so much.

I've just reformatted the computer and I have windows XP SP2 on it, I installed all the drivers from the CD that came with the box and I'm unable to connect to the internet. The audio drivers installed work just fine, but for some reason it can't detect the ethernet connection. Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Dear sirs,

After having re installed an older version of Windows XP I found out that the network connector no longer saw my internet modem. I didn't have the original XP anymore so I tried to install Vista. That worked, and I did have internet, but my USB connectors no longer responded when I entered working USB devices (camera, printer, USB stick, external harddisk). Neither the front nor the back ports could be used. The light on my USB stick indicated that there is voltage present, and there are no errors in my device list (which carries 4 USB entries).

I updated BIOS and drivers using FoxOne. There seems to be a link between the USB entries and the communications port, because when I experimentally deleted the 4 USB entries in order to reinstall them I suddenly found out that I have no longer a working internet connection. After re installing the USB drivers the internet was back as well.

Somehow the non-working USB ports seem to be linked to a lacking or wrong driver, even though the device manager gives no errors whatsoever. Can anyone suggest a solution? Or if you feel the onboard USB controller is defective would it be sensible/possible to enter a PCI card with USB ports to compensate for this?

    - last but not least, totally unrelated: I use one Kingston 1GB memory bank at 533 MHz. I want to buy more memory, but someone told me it would be much better to use higher speed. Is he right and if so, what's the maximum speed?

Here's the updated BIOS files (there are several, choose the newest)

    Be very careful it's not a 6100M2MA-2.0-RS2H

Which devices are not installed. I should be able to track down individual drivers for you, a full drive CD is ALOT harder to find.

It looks like the BIOSTAR TFORCE 6100 AM2 is the same M/B, it has the same chipset.

try -->LINK<-- these. The 'nForce 410 chipset driver' is the one that have all the relevant files for the SM Bridge and PCI Bridge.

I'll keep an eye out for your answer.

I still cannot use any of my USB ports even though it shows up fine in the installed equipment list. I flashed the latest BIOS from the Foxconnchannel site (which, btw shows in other programs as: BIOS by Phoenix Technologies, LTD - 5/29/2008, version 6.00 PG - size: 512 KB.

Some people suggested that perhaps I should try and get a hold of the original BIOS (the computer was bought in January, 2007) but I have no idea how to find it. The CD is missing and can no longer be recovered.

Does Foxconn 6100M2MA-RS2H Motherboard BIOS support AMD Phenom 64 X4 procesor ?

I'm afraid not. Foxconn 6100M2MA-RS2H has an AM2 Socket that only supports the following processors: AMD Sempron, Athlon 64,Athlon 64x2,Athlon 64FX. Phenom processors support AM2+ and AM3 socket motherboards. Hope this helps. Any vote will be appreciated. Thank you :)

6100m2ma-krs2. I'd like to check and see if there are updates for my motherboard. Which model should I use. I'm trying to install an SSD.

Should this link ever fail it appears that the 6100m2ma rsh2 may be the same. The link for the krs2 is only on the Foxconn China website.
Though this posting is very old I am posting so that others may find this info which was very difficult to find.

Refomatted hard drive but now no systems disk and no LAN driver. driver finder programs no good if you can't get out on the internet

With another computer, go to FoxConn's site and download the drivers that you need onto a USB stick, or burn them onto a CD.

Then take the LAN driver to your rebuilt computer and install it there.

If this helps, be sure to hit the "thumbs-up" for me before you go!

You can go to Foxconn's website here and download what you need:

You'll need to pick fill in the information fields under "Search by Product Model" (type = motherboards, series = socket AM2, model = 6100M2MA-RS2H) and then search. You'll get 2 pages of available downloads.

Installed xp, no audio

do you have any unknown devices in device manager? look for something with a yellow ? it should say multimedia controller. right click and update driver, then point the hardware wizard to the cd. if not go to bios then look for integrated peripherals then onboard audio, make sure it's enabled. then do the same as above.
