Pud6666, First and foremost, you should try re-installing the software and drivers for your Wireless card. To uninstall the software; 1. Click Start > Run 2. Type: appwiz.cpl 3. Locate your Wireless software and remove it Do not re-boot if prompted To uninstall the driver (assuming the software does not do that for you) 1. Click Start 2. Right click My Computer and select Properties 3. Click the Hardware tab 4. Click Device Manager 5. Click the + next to Network adapters 6. Right click your Wireless driver, and click Uninstall Next, re-boot your computer, and re-install the drivers + software Note: If you do not have a copy of the installation CD for your card*, you will need to download these first. http://support.packardbell.com/ * If this is a built in card, the drivers will be on your motherboard and/or restoration CD.

IS MY PC WIRELESS ENABLED? I JUST BOUGHT A PACKARD BELL UTOW-SAN, HOW DO I FIND OUT IF ITS WIRELESS ENABLED AS MY ROUTER IS WIRELESS. IF NOT WHAT DO I NEED TO MAKE IT WIRELESS ENABLED?

You can check your pc if its wireless enabled if you have a wireless adapter installed on your system with the necessary drivers, if you dont have the device, then you have to purchase a wireless adapter from the computer shop and install its device driver in order for it to work. If you have a hardware and have the driver installed, you go to control panel and network connections if you have windows xp, you should configure it to get ip from your router in order for you to get connected to your wireless router, and also you make sure that wireless is enabled on your router when you configure it.

Cant connect to the internet with my wifi

If your computer finds a wireless connection in your house, and still won't connect, you probably need to enter the WPA or WEP codes to get through.

Check with your modem or router instructions for finding this code.

If you're just trying to connect on the fly, chances are most wireless points are secured, so if you don't have their access codes, you won't be able to connect.

And, of course, check to make sure your wireless function is even working. I had a laptop that said the port was fine, and I couldn't get it to connect. The wireless antenna inside the computer was bad, and too expensive to fix - so you'll need a wireless PCMCIA network card.

Internet problem

If you are talking about a wireless router, try changing the channel that the wireless router is using. Many times there is interference from yours or a neighbors portable phone.

If it is XP, you should just click on the Camera icon in Control Panel. If Vista you have to install an application. Try MSN Messenger and connect to a friend with video link or google picasa.
