Pud6666, First and foremost, you should try re-installing the software and drivers for your Wireless card. To uninstall the software; 1. Click Start > Run 2. Type: appwiz.cpl 3. Locate your Wireless software and remove it Do not re-boot if prompted To uninstall the driver (assuming the software does not do that for you) 1. Click Start 2. Right click My Computer and select Properties 3. Click the Hardware tab 4. Click Device Manager 5. Click the + next to Network adapters 6. Right click your Wireless driver, and click Uninstall Next, re-boot your computer, and re-install the drivers + software Note: If you do not have a copy of the installation CD for your card*, you will need to download these first. http://support.packardbell.com/ * If this is a built in card, the drivers will be on your motherboard and/or restoration CD.

WHY CAN'T I GET THE WIRELESS KEY TO WORK

It's probably the wrong key. Try logging in to the router from a computer already connected to the network and see what the encryption key is, or just reset/resetup the router.
