Can you provide me with the model number / specific name of the network adapter? Once I get that, I'll be more than happy to provide you with a link which would give you the right driver. Thanks!

Hello,

First of all you will need to get the model number of the equipment, which can either be found on the packing or somewhere on the device itsself. Once you have located that you can visit http://www.belkin.com/support/ and enter the correct model in the box in the upper right corner. That should lead you to the correct drivers for your operating system.

If your not sure on your operating system, there's an easy way to tell. If the start button is green it is xp and if its a windows logo in a blue circle its Vista.

Thanks

I HAVE LOST MY INSTALLATION CD

The installation CD contains a driver of the adapter to run the device. If you lost the CD, you can let your computer find the driver online.

Connect your computer to the internet .Plug the USB device to your laptop. Go to device manager , look under network adapter , find Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster, right-click it, hit update driver, there will be a windows update pop-up page, so just hit search automatically.

I need an install disk for my usb wireless adapter. I lost my disk.

OK... Just download the driver/software revision matching your USB adapter (have a look on it's sticker. If no revision is noted, then it's simply DWA-130!):

DWA-130:

My beklin wireless g+mimo router will not work with my cannon pixma mx860 copier scanner printer fax. I'm setting up the printer to connect to a wireless access point using WPS. any suggestions? printer...

The printer is usually discovered by the computer, not the other way round.
Use Windows explorer, networks to discover it.
1. Make sure file and printer sharing for networks is enabled on networking part of the control panel for Windows.
2. Make sure the appropriate protocol has been set up ie TCIP and that the printer has an IP address in the range recognised by the router.
3. Make sure the printer is in the same workgroup under windows.

Need a new way to install

Andres -

If you have a regular(wired) LAN port on your computer, you can download the drivers and install them from the manufacturer's web site.

Otherwise, the easiest way would be to download the drivers on a different computer, copy them to a USB Flash drive(Such as the SanDisk Cruzer Micro), and use the Flash drive to install the drivers on your computer.

Hope this helps!

Usb network adapter

you network adapter either is not installed or the OS recognized it as a "generic adapter" and apply an appropriate driver for the said hardware. this is good but sometimes the windows just apply the nearest driver close to what is you driver...

if you network adapter is brand new chances are that you still got the disk came with the package and just uninstall the window's xp driver and reinstall it. if you dont have the disk just look at the website of the said adapter.

solution:
if you are using windows xp
1. click control panel
2. click the icon "system"
3. at the hardware tab click the "device manager" and look for the network adapter branch
4. if you can see a network adapter installed right click it and click uninstall...
5. reboot and let them window automatically search and reinstall your adapter.
6. if you the windows don't automatically install it, go back to control panel and click "add hardware" and install the hardware manually

hope this help...
