Question about Zenith H27F36DT 27" TV
We have about 80 Zenith TV's here at our motel. Forty of them are the Model H27F36DT Commerical TV. It has the CAT-5 plug on the back. We are also using the Zenith Universal Remote (ZN110) here. Our problem is that we would like one code to work for all the TV's or at least one code for all the 40 new ones we just received. Our original 40 use the code 405. Some of the new ones use 701, while the rest of the new ones use 405. Is there any way to reprogram these new ones to either match the 405 code or at least make them all 701?

The CORRECT answer is you must purchase a LP702 remote. Google it to find one to buy. You must unlock channels and program the channels fresh.
Some standard zenith remotes allow you to reset the tv by popping off the cover of the remote and pressing an unmarked button.

Try accessing the Service Menu to see if you can disable it from there.
Hold the MENU button down for about 5 seconds until the currently displayed menu disappears.
Then press 9 8 7 6, then ENTER.
There are two menus in the service mode. Use the MENU to toggle between them.
Press SELect until the item you want is highlighted, then the ADJ button (left or right) for the submenu or the adjustment.
Press SELect for the next item and MENU for the alternate menu. Press ENTER to exit the service mode.
If the first Service Menu access procedure does not work, try the following:
On the TV itself, press the MENU button until the displayed menu disappears.
Then press ADJUST RIGHT and CHANNEL UP at the same time.
