you need to check that you have the codec for BR video, if you goto http://www.free-codecs.com/ and download the XP codec pack (even if you have vista), install it and then run the DrWatson codec utility, it will list all the codecs installed on your PC. you can also download all the latest codecs from the site.
1.use original disc, bcz some brand drives not supported all the discs available in the market.
2.cheak with other disc,if any disc cant read ,then
* Open Your CPU system cabinet,then cheak the data cable and power cable of the Dvd/Cd Drive.(You may change the other power card in your system already had)
* change the data cable
3.if u still have the problem,then finaly replace the new drive.LG Dvd Drive is beswt one.because it can read all discs.
I do believe that there is still a small hole by that slot, that you can insert a straightened paper Clip into, and keep pushing until you feel/hear a slight, click, keep pushing gently and the disk should soon appear. IF you cannot do that the DVD will be removable by taking out the fasteners underneath the laptop,, and sliding the DVD out. for repair of replacement.
Resolution is simple enough. 2000-0146 is a read-write failure of the hard disk drive. You will need to replace the drive and reinstall Windows and your drivers. You can get a Replacement HDD here is the system is no longer in warranty:

4) double check that the computer can read other disks besides that one, and if not there may be a more serious problem.
solutions:
try running a disk cleaner in the drive, its a cd with a little brush on it for sweeping dust off the lens
buy a 3-4 dollar can of compressed air and spray a bit of that inside to clean out the dust and stuff, MAKING SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY as cans of compressed air can mess stuff up real easily if used wrong.
