Aeq8000fs how old is unit

Hi Friend, that's a great question!

I understand you are seeking the age of your Frigidaire electric dryer, AEQ8000FS. May I please have your serial number? The serial tag, which lists both your model and serial number, is located on the upper front, as you open the door. With this information I can provide you the correct manufacturer date. Thank you! - Z

Dryer not heating up

A brand, model and age might help but here is general answer---ignitor is not firing up and if gas unit you will have no heat--the ceramic type often crack and are not real expensive to replace--done it a few times myself on my own dryer.

Can you tell me tha age of a dryer if i have m and s numbers of unit if so m 110.72062102 s mr1304865 kenmore

The dryer is made by Whirlpool and its age can be determined from the serial number. The second character (R) is the year while the first 2-digit of the number (13) is the week on that year the dryer was made. The dryer was made on the 13th week of the year code R which is 2004. The dryer was made approximately on April 2004, about 7 years ago. Click on the link below for further details on how to determine the age of dryers and washers made by Whirlpool.

I have a Cabrio dryer from whirlpool model # wgd6200swo and it will not heat up

Your dryers heating element has most likely gone bad. This typically doesnt occur unless the dryer has some age on it but it can happen. The heating element can be accessed from the back of the unit and is quite easly replaced if you are somewhat handy. SAFETY FIRST! Please make sure that you unplug the unit prior to attempting any repairs. Once you have disconnected the unit from its power source, you can begin to replace the heating element. You can usually purchase these elements at your local appliance store. Good luck.

I can't find the reset button on my siemens wt46s511DN model. I can't remove the front, so what do I do.

there are no resets on dryers,do you have anything operating on the unit,if not check your input power, then if thats good(240volts) you could have a neutral wire inside unit burned or broken off they carry the unbalance of power and get brittle with age

Kenmore dryer start switch needs to be replaced

Depending on age of unit.. there are 2 screws on each side of the console (older unit) on newer unit you have 2 white plastic covers.. pop those out and unscrew the 2 screws and lift up the console.. you have to get to the starter switch from the back of console.. good luck..
