2. Close tray.
3. Switch Off Player and unplug from power. wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
4. Reconnect to power.
5. Turn on player with remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote. (ignore message on screen)
7. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 using keys on remote. (if your player is already set to region 2)
8. Press ENTER on remote.
9. Wait until player finishes processing. (approx 15 seconds)
10. Turn off power from remote.
11. Turn power back on with remote.

Player is now Region Free.

Turn on with remote control without disc.
When message "No disk" appears, press on the remote,

Dvd does not load. surround sound works ok.

I had the same problem for months, then i tried this,1 take disc out,2 turn system to standby then off at mains for 30 seconds. back on,3 power up,4 wait until it says no disc,5 press enter on remote. (There will be no on-screen response.) 6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.) 7. Press enter on the remote. Player will automatically shut off. 8. Turn player on. 9. Turn off. 10. Turn player on then off again. 11. Player is now region-free.

i did all that and my system started to read discs again

My dvd home theatre system ht tx75 keeps shutting down

protection error message means that your unit's fan is not working

it is a feature to keep your unit from overheating

check if there is anything blocking the fan of your unit from rotating

if problem still persist replace the fan
